Here at Bushbury Lane Academy Nursery the children are at the heart of everything we do. We recognise the importance of providing high quality education and care that is inclusive and consistent. Our curriculum intent is hearty and wholesome and embeds our core values and shared vision. Our ambitious, sequential and flexible curriculum is designed to give all learners the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life, whilst valuing and embedding the children’s interests, promoting British values, incorporating our 'Treasured Texts', celebrating what is happening in the world and nurturing emotional health and well-being.
Our early year’s team provides a wonderfully diverse representation of cultural expertise. Every practitioner genuinely enjoying spending time with the children, getting to know them as individuals, developing secure, respectful and trusting relationships and creating a safe and enabling environment to nurture, inspire, value and challenge.
We recognise the importance of working closely and in partnership with our families, outside agencies and the community and openly encourage their participation, involvement and opinion in all aspects of school life.
We believe that children thrive in a safe, secure, and stimulating environment. Our dedicated staff carefully scaffold each child’s learning journey, encouraging independence and empowering them to make their own decisions. Through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions, we nurture confident, curious learners who feel valued and supported every step of the way.
