📖📚 National Story Telling Week 📚📖
We began National Storytelling Week with a special whole‑school assembly, and the excitement carried on all week! There were beautiful activities happening across school, from handmade bookmarks and reading buddies to lots of shared stories in every classroom. A wonderful celebration of imagination and reading 🌟

🎶🎸 Year 4 Ukulele 🎸🎶
Our Year 4 Ukulele Assembly yesterday was fantastic! It was wonderful to see how much the children have learnt, from new chords to trying out their instruments with such confidence. We’re so proud of their hard work and enthusiasm. 🌟

✨ Year 4 Victorian Workhouse! ✨
Year 4 stepped back in time on Friday for a hands‑on Victorian workhouse experience. Pupils tried their hand at sorting buttons, untying ropes, scrubbing surfaces, and even tasting a little “gruel” to see what workhouse life might have been like. 🌟⚽️ Year 5/6 Girls Football ⚽️🌟
Huge congratulations to our Year 5/6 football team! They played fantastically at today’s tournament at the Wolves training ground, showing real determination and sportsmanship throughout. We are incredibly proud of their teamwork, positivity and the way they represented our school. Well done everyone, you were outstanding!

🎉 Star Jar Success! 🎉
Last half term, our amazing Year 4 class worked incredibly hard to fill their Star Jar - a reward for showing kindness, teamwork, and brilliant learning behaviours. Bushbury’s ⭐️Little Stars⭐️ Provision
Last half term in the Sanctuary, our children were learning about ‘Me and My Community’. Our school has been celebrating Anti-Bullying Week by embracing what makes each of us unique! Each class chose their own way to express themselves - from odd socks and crazy hair to bright colours, pyjamas, and outfits that show off their individuality.
