Below is a comprehensive list of recommended websites for home learning.  Please check back regularly – the list will be updated as new resources are released!


All websites are free, but some may require you to set up an account.


The list has been organised by subject.



The school has put together some videos to support your child with improving joined handwriting. There are six different videos that look at the types of joins.

You can download handwriting paper here or used lined paper you have at home.

BBC TEACH – this website has resources for all ages.  Content is divided into Key Stages, and there are interactive videos covering all areas of the curriculum!


ENGLISH – use this link to find free resources, writing tips and where to upload your entries to the competitions – the Royal Shakespeare Company are offering a free month of marquee TV which streams live recordings of Shakespeare plays! – the RSC also offers free resources for home learning – activities are free during school closure. The best games for practicing blending skills are ‘Reading Robot’, ‘Buried Treasure’, ‘Dragon’s Den’ and ‘Picnic on Pluto’. – advice, support and facts about supporting your child. Free books to read online! · demonstrates how to pronounce each sound accurately. – activities to support phonic skills – practice reading comprehension papers – a range of activities and games – daily dose of creativity and fun, check out our ’10 Minute Challenges’, set by bestselling authors and illustrators – we add a new challenge to this page every single day! – activities and readings by authors – poems and videos of performances. HISTORY – Historical Association – register to access content for free – take a trip through time with the Nat Geo history resources– audio & video clips supported by teacher notes – take a virtual tour of the Museum of Natural History!
